In the free interaction between man and horse, the central difference to other measures is that the horse can move freely. The horse has the opportunity to express itself clearly and freely and to react to the non-verbal signals of its counterpart. This can be used in the therapeutic work in the context of free interaction in order to decode and make aware of the client’s emotions, assumptions and beliefs, so that they can be used in therapy. The focus of the free interaction is the non-verbal communication between man and horse and their relationship.
