Summary: This article describes a web based Self-Management-Tool (SMT), which was devel-oped based on models of self-regulated learning and aims at facilitating systematic self-monitoring and continuous improvement of self-management competencies. In more detail the SMT helps (1) to set realistic and efficient goals, (2) to continuously self-evaluate learning activities and (3) to reflect on learning activities with the aim of long-term improvement.
