Wie reagieren Lehrer bei Belastungen?
How do Teachers React to Stress?
2005, 250-260
Summary: The aim of this study is the investigation of differences in galvanic skin response regarding behavioural coping styles, measured with the AVEM. The sample consists of 20 female teachers. In a 24 hour monitoring a skin response diagnostic was performed. In accordance with the underarousal-theory, risktype A (high work involvement and low dissociation from work) and risktype B (high resignation and low life satisfaction) showed lower physiological arousal and at the same time more changes between arousal and relaxation. The latter can be interpreted as decreased ability to relax. Thus, in person-oriented interventions activating techniques should be used.
