Summary: This article concerns the situation of children aged up to six, within the proposition structure of youth welfare service. Acting upon developmental psychological and developmental psychopathological findings on the relevancy of early adverse conditions for the further development, psychotherapeutic and life-world focussed propositions of assistance for families, are discussed as well as those drawing directly on the children. The adopted perspective is aimed on the outcome of propositions for the recipients. Afterwards, requirements concerning the further qualification of assistance propositions on the levels of individual procedures, development of programs and the institutional enhancements are derived and explicated.
