Summary: In the first place, the author is concerned with the furtherance diagnostics of children and adolescents with learning difficulties, above all with the possibilities of inclusive education. As furtherance diagnostics also seem to apply to the education of highly gifted children, his article considers the matter from this special point of view. Firstly the author defines and illustrates some notions and concepts of the furtherance of pupils with learning problems, before he outlines his ideas of how to structure the furtherance of children considered to be highly gifted.
