Supporting Didactics
2004, 388-397
Summary: The concept of "supporting didactics" is meant to be a specific but not a special way of teaching. It is based on a systemic-constructivistic theory approach with a humanistic emphasis and it aims at a balanced alliance of the quality of relations, the focus on learning pupils and a reflexive theoretical use of various teaching methods as qualitative characteristics of efficient classroom instruction. Due to the specific developmental restrictions of children and youths with physical/motor impairments, the importance of the quality of relations is particularly evident. The precondition for the implementation of this concept is a new different interpretation of child development, of learning and teaching.
