Interdisciplinarity in Early Intervention
2005, 168-178
Summary: „Interdisciplinarity“ has become an important concept in many areas of modern science and practice. In early intervention, „interdisciplinarity“ is a principle since its systematic institutionalization. In the pracitce of early intervention, cooperative structures are necessary to enhance interdisziplinary work. This practice is analyzed here in three key processes: Teamwork, developmental assessment, and the intervention process itself. From this analysis some general conclusions are drawn concerning enhancement of interdisciplinarity.
