Picking up steam for retirement

  • Every-day guide
  • 8 behaviour types, their problems and solutions
  • Learning from other people’s experiences

People who are about to retire from their job often feel somewhat uncertain: What’s to come after the busy every-day job: boredom, loneliness and identity crisis? What to do with all this free time? Will the couple be a pain in each other’s neck? Does one belong to the scrap heap now, not needed any longer? This guide shows how retirement can be filled with meaning. Eight behaviour types serve as a role model in order to unmask possible drags and to fight the inner couch potato. Readers of this book will discover which areas of their lives are of particular importance for their personal well-being and how these areas can be shaped according to one’s own desires and goals.

Target groups
(Soon to be) retirees, their relatives and all who are looking for a meaningful present on the occasion of entering retirement.
